About Nu-View Homes

Nu-View Homes is a progressive 3rd generation home building and design company that pride ourselves on accountability, honesty, quality craftsmanship, and trust. As the industry evolves, we strive to embrace new technology and to create long-lasting projects that will stand the test of time.

We stand behind the products that we build, and all of our new homes are covered by a 2-5-10 Warranty (2 years on labour and materials, 5 years on the building envelope and 10 years on the structure of the building) provided by Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada. We are also a Registered Builder with the Homeowner Protection Office (HPO) – a crown corporation that works to strengthen consumer protection for buyers of new homes in British Columbia – and are members of the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA).

Keith Andrews – President

As a third generation custom home-builder, Keith Andrews has been immersed in the home building experience for his entire life. He started early, working part time as an electrician while in school, and along the way he also obtained his diploma in Criminal Justice, earned his learner’s pilot license, became a full RCMP Auxiliary Member before returning to his true calling to become a Red Sealed Journeyman Carpenter.

In addition to building Nu-View Homes, Keith is also building a young family with his loving and supportive wife, Shelly. Together, they have two beautiful boys who love to spend their free time outdoors fishing, boating and hiking with their Dad.

Keith strives for excellence in everything that does, and aims for constant improvement in all aspects of life. His open-minded, straightforward and no-nonsense approach to business make him easy to work with. He loves nothing more than finding elegant solutions to challenging building ideas, and pulling together all necessary resources to bring those ideas to life. It is this attitude and his belief in hard work, perseverance, quality craftsmanship and professionalism that have allowed him to continue to grow as a carpenter, a business owner, a father and a husband.

Martine Kiliwnik – Vice President and Designer

Martine Kiliwnik’s love of design started early – she was the little girl who always moved her furniture around to make her room just right.

Her spatial creativity continued to grow and she went on to earn a Bachelor of Environmental Design with Interior Environments option from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba, and has been working at design and building firms since 2006.

Martine’s work has won two Georgie Awards, six CARE Awards and an International Award through 3form and has been featured in Boulevard, Homes and Living, Dream House Magazine, The Globe and Mail, The Times Colonist.

Martine’s design skills, and attention to detail give Nu-View homes a distinct advantage in the building process that allow great ideas to come to life quickly.

In her spare time, Martine volunteers on the Board of Directors for ORCCA, and plays competitive soccer.

Timber – Quality Control Specialist

As his name signifies, Timber also comes from a background of lumber – just not the type found in the store. Timber was found wandering a forested area in the interior of BC -malnourished, stricken with mange and almost lifeless.  He was to be put down, but a wonderful non-profit organization called “Broken Promises” rescued him, brought him to Vancouver Island, and nursed him back to health.

Shortly after that, the Andrews family adopted Timber, and have been proud owners of this amazing dog ever since. As with many rescue dogs, Timber suffers from separation anxiety if he is left home alone, and that’s one of the reasons Timber rides shotgun everywhere that Keith goes. He is an extremely gentle and obedient dog, and loves to be part of every aspect of the construction process (he even has a safety vest for those days when we’re pouring concrete).
